 Set up
DataVU 5 reduces set up time by providing users with a quick and easy set up process via an intuitive on screen menu. The user can program the recorder using the 5 soft key logical menu buttons to set the recorder up in situ. This saves valuable resources as the recorder can be configured by personnel of all skill levels.
Comms
For those looking to configure the same profile on multiple recorders, set up can be carried out remotely from a PC using an Ethernet or CompactFlash card connection. This prevents duplication of work and saves time.
Display
The DataVU 5 recorder benefits from a 5” TFT high quality, color display. The screen supports wide viewing angles with minimal color distortions and loss of contrast making it ideal for use in all industrial environments.

DataVU 7 - A Sophisticated and Flexible Paperless Recorder
The DataVU 7 recorder provides advanced functionality and the flexibility to meet a user’s specific requirements without the need to change a process to fit the recorder. The recorder is fully scalable so additional option cards can be added to the recorder at a later date facilitating future expansion.

DataVU 7 delivers enhanced security to its users through its options for password protections ensuring that the instrument can only be configured by authorized operating personnel.
Evaluation Software
The PC evaluation software allows drilldown of data to meet a user’s requirements with the option to run either daily, weekly, monthly and annual data reports or with custom date ranges for a specific period. Individual comments relating to process events entered on the recorder can also be viewed via the software, giving greater meaning and relevance to the data being presented.
Customize Data Presentation
The user can tailor the presentation of data to the specific application by creating a personalized process image upon which relatable data can be viewed, helping to visualize the information being displayed.

 DataVU 7 is a robust and durable recorder that is ideally suited to challenging and harsh environments. The recorder can withstand humid conditions and meets standards for IP65 ingress protection. It can also tolerate abrasive substances in its surroundings as it is easy to clean, even with aggressive media.
